Cullercoats- late report

Nat I don't know if you've spotted this but on your marks photo of Cullercoats Harbour, if you go to the boat nearest the shore and pan in to the left of it is a perfect image of a sunken pot boat or the like. I've no idea of it's history. I wonder if anyone else does.

Well spotted! I think that might be a trick in the photo. I've never seen or heard of a sunken boat there and I've paddled over there a couple of times in my yak and not noticed anything on the sonar. That's not to say it isn't there of course!
I wouldn't cast any further west from my point because of the mooring chain for those bouys but if the sunken boats are there then it might be good structure to fire a cast or two just in front of;-)
