Had a drive up last night to fish the last of the ebb and the early flood.
The groundswell was dodgy from the off and I kept well back from the edge.
Got these two an hour before low and looked promising!
When the tide turned to flood the swell built until it was too dangerous.
So I moved to the low cliff at the back of the black hole and hung one up and lost another on the lift about 3lb. but soon the swells were banging over here as well.
So called it a night. Bag weighed 6.1lb, caught on lug/razor.
Still got a pb though! 11 sets of gear! :D

well done mate canny bag great marks them in the right conditions i remember a few year ago wen i fished the black hole in a huge sea on a big tide the swells were going straight up the rocks and not far off the public footpath lol it fished well that night tho so i assume its best when there's a good sea on.

welldone rocker on 2 nice fish and putting saftey before fishing keep bringing them in but leave some for the rest of us lol

Well in mate, another couple for the tally.:D Very nearly got washed in there a few years ago, managed to stay upright but the box went for a swim:o

Easily done mate!
I was 30 yards or so up from the waterline and a wave came from nowhere up to my feet!
Would have been difficult to land a good fish.
There's always another day!
