only done bait fishing that area, so only advice i can give is take care on rocks as they can be very slippy when wet and extremely dangerous.

You can fish cullernose point itself any state of the tide, never lure fished there myself but it seems to be a popular place for it along with dunstanborough

Lots of channels and gullies from Spooky House all the way up to Cullernose will fish soft plastics. I have heard of Pollock coming from there up to 8lb. Lots of other species may make a show such as cod, coleys and Wrasse....As has been mentioned, the rocks there can be incredibly slippy so go canny. I am off Saturday so if my pager goes off, you may have to look at my ugly mug if you get into difficulties!

Cullernose to Craster is slippier due to the geology of the rocks changing as you go North. There is a Whinstone sill that starts pretty much at Cullernose and goes north....The majority of the rocks toward the waters edge are flat and can be like glass to walk on. As long as you have decent boots and are careful, you should be ok

Mate fished Swine Den and the point last weekend and had nowt but a foul hooked dab haha. Better off at Dunstanburgh as Davy said
