can anybody give me any info on cullernose point,eg,where to park,whats the best rig to use,baits to use etc as i've never fished it before and we're thinking about going there next week.

You can park at the side of the road opposite the path that leads you down to the point. As for rigs, anything really, I use either a clipped dow pennal with 4/0 or 3/0 or a pulley with the same size hooks. Bait wise just the usual, lug, rag, razor, squid, crab. My best results have came with straight fresh lug and fishing high water down just after a big sea, however ive had fish from there when its been totally flat. I suppose thats the thing with cullernose, its either good or s**te!

If you fish directly out from the point(east) all the way to the south then its not to bad with only a few kelp beds to worry about, however if you fish anywhere north of that then its as rough as a badgers arse!(and expect to lose tackle)!!!!

dont waste yi time m8 fished there alot over the years only ever seen one small cod landed honestly try further along the road at craster gate or the park honest dont waist yi time read all other reports on culler
