Cuttlefish

Just been watching a dvd called 'cod magic'. Certainly worth a watch and learned a little thing or two and we all know every little tip helps

The bloke did a lot of fishing with cuttlefish, both shore and up/ down tiding. Used either on its own or with lug similar as you would with squid.

I have never used cuttle but I have placed an order for some to try it out. I know every bait has its day but just wondered if anyone has had good results with this?

I personally like cuttle fish had some decent cod on it on clean and rogh ground. I prefer it to squid as u get loads of ink out of it. All adds to the scent

Never used it for cod but Cuttle is a great bait for south coast Black Bream with stinky Cuttle sorting out some of the better fish...

Had some success with it for codling last year around the start of the migration into shallower waters to spawn around March April time.
