went up to the "roost"at 10pm last night, planning a good sleep before todays 07 30 sail.
:(:(02 35 and im wide awake:( dozed off and on, gave in at 5am:(

:)never realised i could still get excited:)

today we have two stalwarts from durham,John and Tommy.the good thing about these two is that if theres fish about they will have them.
the rest of the party is new to the warlord so hopefully they will enjoy their day

anyone out there have a good day:):)

Similar story here mate, been up since 2.30am, trip cancelled after a look at the sea at 5.0am, bit of a blessing really as no sleep leads to sea sickness for me. I now can't decide whether to have a kip or go to work.

Good Luck!

Aye like keith says, up and looked at north pier at 5.00am but decided the waves over the top were a sign that it may be a little uncomfortable .... :) ... sorry keith ...

hopefully a few more tides may flatten it off so maybe out tomorrow if its any better....

all the best anyone getting out today ..

No worries at all Norm, as I said, probably a blessing, I'm at work now and not feeling too grand, just had to run to the bog.

I didn't have any drink last night, that's probably the problem :D

Fingers crossed for tomorrow.

Like everyone else, tossed and turned from 1-35am, and that's for a 6am. start. Took cover off boat, fitted sounder, radio, rods, tackle box, bait, etc: etc: hitched boat up, arrived at Cullercoats, only to be greeted by a bigger sea than yesterday's dying sea. Sat there cussing, and why didn't I check first:confused::confused::mad:
Hopefully, tomorrow.................

Hi you daft o clocker this is my first message on nesa just finding my way around so here goes

Hi rosie, welcome to nesa. any imfo you need, just ask on here, they're a knowledgeable lot and can usually help with what you want to know.

You lot never missed much i had 4 fish today but we covered some ground and did some wrecks, apart from the showerd it was like a July day at sea...when the sea was out it was smooth sea and t-shirt weather

Not the biggest but first fish of the year at 10am followed by a few more...
