But what do they youse as bait in turkey part from bred ? As am away in June
Bread TBH as all the fish tiddlers from the shore 2-7" fished in Bodrum two years ago had loads but nowt big and speaking with the locals unless you go on the reefs the best you can hope for is a big garfish.
In Bodrum there is a Burger King with a glass floor in the harbour, loads of fish under it, people chucking chips and bread in for them but nothing big, dont want to spoil your fun but unless you go on a boat i would just forget about fishing for the time your away.
Never fished in turkey. Fished in cyprus and greek islands best bait i found to use was berkley gulp trout powerbait (paste-dough) also power bait maggots
both baits are very good and seem to catch more than the locals . best of luck on your hols.
ooooo that sounds good to meWhen Lynn and I went to Turkey (Alanya) we didn't take any gear and couldn't find any sea trips.
We did however find a freshwater trip. We got six hours fishing, tackle, bait, lunch and as many beers/soft drinks we could neck, a ramshackle car picked us up at our hotel and took us back again. We caught loads of fish (all returned), no idea what they were, but great sport and all for £20 each. An absolute steal! Brilliant day out.
