Daiwa saltist

Just got a brand new saltist, and noticed that the reelseat legs are angled slightly downwards. Not really a problem but it does mean it doesn't sit flush on the reelseat. Are all saltists like this? Only other reels I've got at the minute to compare are sloshs, and they're straight.
