myself and 8 others from our county house club enjoyed the spoils of what can only be described as a top notch day out, around the 5 mile mark off blyth,with 85 good cod aboard up to7lb, on the day we also encounted loads of pouting,whiting,coalys,dabs,& of course hundreds of mackerel.majority of better fish fell to baited traces with lug,mussel.but the owld daylights, hokeyes,done a lot of damage also.everyone on board was well tanned when we got back to port as it got very tropical like,well done to our skipper for putting us onto fish from the very 1st drop,cheers korky...
