wahey...a catch report from my own boat for a change

cracking day today, headed out at a respectable 8am to calm seas and sunshine

all fish were taken on blue shads today.....


i did try to get ( duty ) free spirit out with us today, but to no avail..

next time eh chris...

Great report and pics Rob , did you get any off the rough ground :question: Were you camera shy today mate . I had to pull all the weeds out of the spot where your boat trailer stands while you were out, thats why i didnt come....

we covered some distance to get fish today barney....glad the water was good so we could open her up..

we filleted off in the dock 'bout half four, we were hoping for a coffee but ....

there were plenty of cod on friday I took 24 my self , kept 12 and put 12 back ,mind you some lads on the boat did not fair so well think about 100 fish aboard,had to work hard for them all mine took on the shads ,most colours worked as long as they had a touch of red in them average size about 5lb upto 9lb next week will throw some big fish up if the settled weather comes
