My m8 bought my sum delights from rutherfords i used them on Friday at seaham first cast fellt like a full house then it whent light when i relld in 1macky and 3snapt hooks new set onsam thing new set agan snapt hooks absolute rubbish do not no where he gets them from but for£4.50 for4bags bump

you've been hooking into rock fish m8 . they usually snap most hooks to be fair. nasty fellas they are ... the worse kind is when your boat fishing and you hook into the plug fish , now they take some landing and more than likely you lose all your gear when the line snaps ....

You might be better off making up your own daylights?

you can use plastic bottle labels, cut to size and folded up, then whipped to the hook of your choice and they seem to work just as well as shop bought sets, at least so far anyway

Just a thought.

andy is a forum member , why not pm him :yltype:. I have always bought daylights from andy and not ebay , 20+ packs for £10 . only time ive lost hooks is when I hook into the bottom . :question:

I don't use Rutherfords much myself but if you have a problem with sumit you bought there go back and try and sort it out with the shop instead of coming on here and calling the guy before you've even discussed your dissatisfaction.
If you get no joy and he throws you out of the shop then slag him off but I very much doubt that will happen

to be honest its not just rutherfords daylights its a large majority ive used the knots are week as **** and the links on the bottom are the same but ive bought some of them sabiki or something like that from rutherfords and they seem ok

Should of just took your complaint up with andy, if it was valid he would have sorted it out, I had the boots on my waders fail 3 times each time they were replaced with out compaint. And after the third pair failed he gave me a more expensive pair at no extra cost ,can not complain with that service, it might just be one bad batch missed by quality control .
