Decent Fishing Spots?

alright lads , i give up on the mackeral, do any of you's know anywhere decent around the sheilds area to fish for cod etc... apart from sheilds pier, or do you's no any other decent places around here..bare in mind im from hebburn and dont have the proper transport needs lol

trust me keith lol, ive been to hebburn marina plenty a times lol, when i was at school i used to go literally every day of the holidays lol, the biggest fish ive came away with from there was a 2lb eel and a 3 nd half pound cod lol, people were saying theres a spot on the other side of north shields pier, like a small beach or something, i think ive seen it in some of the catch photos on here...not to sure

Do you mean Castle Rocks? or the Oxfauld (from the prom at high water)

Henda, they could be meaning King Edwards Bay, which is the first bay you come to on the north side. The lower Tyne estuary can be anywhere from the walkway opposite and including the fish quay seaward

Head towards the Fish Quay and it's there - right in front of you...good mark for flatties
