:(:):p;):eek::exclam::rolleyes::o:DCould anyone suggest a decent place to fish at the coast north of the tyne next week.(Preferably a clean ground mark as i only have rods that are suitable for the river.)Also decent rigs and bait to use at that venue:yltype::red::question::cool:

i wouldn't bother with the beaches for the next week or so cos its gonna be too flat so you'll be lucky to catch a flatty, the piers or the river will be your best bet

If your not after the "monster" cod, fish with light gear at top water on somewhere like blyth beach after dark, small hooks light sinkers and rag tipped with a bit of squid/fish should give a bit of sport with whiting coalies & maybe an odd small bass. Enjoy!

any pier is worth a shot mate deeper water but saying that there is fish full of roe atm so inshore you might pick up a surprise with even a slight bit movement

what state of the tide does blyth beach and pier fish best.
Re the beach,
Almost any,i have caught fish from there at all stages though i have done best on the flood.
Just been down there and there is a good sea on today.
It should fish well tonight.
Not a huge fan of pier fishing so couldn't comment.

Going to have a "scratch" myself tonight, 10 foot spinning rod, 2 oz sinker & size 1 aberdeens. Think I'll take the real rod as well as the sea has lifted a bit.
Hopefully have something to report back about.
