She was still in London on wednesday and no doubt any relevant emails on responses to the RSA consultation will still get through.

That is an email adress for the Fisheries Inshore Management group, Nicola being the one prepared to put her email addy online.

The bosses are Anthony Hines and Trevor Hutchinson , so if you dont get a reply ring the number on the consultation document and ask for their email adresses.

Will edit this tomorrow with their direct dial numbers and also the email address of their boss Mr John Shaw, the fisheries minister.

Cheers
Dave

Well I think it`s probably a good idea to have a sea liceince cos at least they`ll then stock the sea with lots od cod for us to catch just like they do for fresh water fishing ....................... or have I got it wrong ?

Norman, I'd pay it if i thought they would stock the inshore waters, or at least controll the commercials ,and give us a golden mile.... or two..

Here is another person to complain to if you feel the consultation process on the RSA is not to your liking. I fire them off to anyone who might listen, and get replies from most.

Comments or complaints about the consultation process (as opposed to comments about the issue which is the subject of consultation) should be addressed to:

I don't think its a good idea at all. Forgive me for not trusting our government but i am more than a little suspicious that if any revenue gets put back into the sport we in the north east shall see no benefit of it.
it has always seemed to me that we are a bit forgotten up here. I for one do not want pay an annual sum to have the bass stocks preserved 300 miles away or to fund a new road to some beach in devon!!!!!!!!!!!!

v bad idea IMO just another way of the government getting their hands in our pockets, it will go to pay for another army of jobs worths who will ultimatley think they own the sea and look down there noses at anglers telling us when and were to fish.

well il be fishing illegally then ,cos they gettin nowt off me ,il just pack the hobby in and not encourage anyone else ,then il start buying bottles of white star cider instead and hang about the corners of the street smoking blow ,thers to much o this going on now and therel be more when youve got to pay to wet a line [,kids wont want to be paying this ]r it may be to pay for all the good work theyve been doing dropping boulders infront of the prom for our lines to get caught on ,certainly wont be spent on the piers gettin mende e ect ,oh no probably build another fountain that was crap n then pull it down again eh ,its bad enough going out gettin blanks in freezin cold weather terrible winds ect and worse wen your sneakin about to do it ,but MORE money to pay to do it ,sad it is ,my view lads

Just had an automated response to my complaint to defra though it took a while. It just spurned on about how everyones opinion will be considered and that a license would not be introduced immediately but that passing the marine bill will enable them to introduce the license.
