Mrs B has just served us Seafood Lasgna (well cod, 5 fillets worth :D) she spotted a recipe in a magazine so hadn't cooked it before, I have to say it was one of the nicest meals I've tasted and wouldn't be out of place in a top restaurant. I probably shouldn't of had the second plate full I need a lie down now. :p

She didn't use a recipe mate, it was in a mag in the hairdressers and she's too honest rip the page out. I searched a for one but none of them had the fish in a tomato sauce so she just made it up I think.

The fish was cooked in the oven in milk then added to a tomato sauce with peppers, garlic & herbs. Then layer of the fishy sauce, layer of lasagna, layer of white sauce etc and then back in the oven.

Just give us the name of the hairdressers and we can go round and find the magazine for ourselves.
I can just imagine the look on the faces when a load of us lads start trooping in searching through all the mags after a recipe.

am going to try it myself tonight...

am going to skin and bone and cut into chunks the cod fillets first, make a tomato sauce then add the fish at the end before layering in the lasagne stylee - then in the oven to cook through and finish off :D

Keith, was the sauce just yer typical tomato based sauce that you would make for pasta? I sometimes make this kinda thing using fresh tuna (bought from shop!) but I like the sound of it using cod. If only I could catch a cod I would try it.
