just got back from the derwent it was shocking 6 of us fished not one fish caught no one even got a pull no one even saw a fish rise it was like a dessilet exspance of water spoke to a lot of people as we moved about all the same no fish ,no pulls, no rises. :casstet:

water level is higher than its been for a few years, last time it was like that, the fish were in their usual spots, but whose spots were now a lot further away from the bank due to the high water, 50yard casts needed - so that rules me out. After a while they do start to venture over the underwater grass as the water waarms
