Cheap and cheerful one for you and very effective.
Wooden broomshank, 2 little screw-in hooks, some elastic bands and a gemini rig clip or similar (a cut down paper clip is ideal).
Screw the hooks into the broom shank, one near the top and the other near the bottom, making sure they are in line with each other. Loop tie the elastic bands together to form a string of bands and tie the rig clip onto one end. And thats it, all sorted and ready to be put into use !!
Get your trace body with link/swivel tied on one end, string on all your swivels/beads etc and tie on link/swivel to the other end. Hook the top link/swivel of the trace onto top hook on broomshank. Clip the gemini link onto bottom swivel of trace then stretch out the length of elastic and loop it over the bottom hook on the broomshank. Trace body is now held under tension by the elastic. Tie on hook snoods and hooks, space everything out and crimp up the beads and bob's ya uncle. If you want you mark out the broomshank in inches (or whatever) so you can get sucessive rigs done up exactly the same.
And it can easily be stashed away with your fishing rods.
