just made my first video with my new headcam about r/b not trying to teach experienced angler how to suck eggs :) but thought it might be of some interest to somebody I used a few different methods panel pin with float, quick link to quick link, them bought links, but came up with these for night fishing don't come off till they hit the water easy to use save tying leaders on use them on any rig, the one in the video is a drop down hope the link works ok.

Well done , but for rock fishing i prefer a loop tied at the bottom of my rig body, put loop onto lead that has single wire thats bent over to act as bait clip,

little as hard where as possible for me.

I make these from straightened paper clips, then attach them to a simple paternoster rig. Tie the weak line onto the loop and then hang the lead on the hook.. Cheap and easy to make, also release every time.. Got to cast smoothly though, never had any trouble with them.

I use them as well the only time I had trouble was in the Tyne wind against tide and I couldn't believe it a couple were coming back still attached my mate who is also on nesa, rig was the same we were amazed we come to the conclusion the strength of the wind was keeping the tension on still couldn't believe how they didn't release on the sea bed but I agree 99.9 % release I put the bead one on released OK this was at the walkway with a good cast into the channel we were catching so a lot of casting and I didn't want to be tying leaders on rather loose a couple of lead

thanks Andy was going to buy a gopro till I read about the Isaw a3 extreme really happy with it my first video so hopefully get better if I had technology like this in the seventies & eighties out in the boat wrecking it would have been great my mate used to do weddings and he came tope fishing with me I think about 1982 I caught some good fish we put the video on in the pub that night and got free beer :) the camera was the size of a suite case :o

never thought about it  but give it ago it not difficult the easiest way is to just put a loop in the end of 60 lb mono with the wire on the loop and it works the same but less hardware
