do you now get wrong for
getting sea water from beach
getting pebbles stones from beach
getting seaweed from beach
breathing on beach
digging worms
collecting crab
collecting razors /shellfish
walking on beach
breathing in sea air
fish on beach
what are you allowed to do on beach now
would realy like to know because 9 times out of ten when reading forums recently there is a new post you cant do this or that WHY WHY
now sea fishing licences they will get nothing off me sick of getting dictated too free country go to hell is it

Hallo mate - never really considered myself politically minded but in the last couple of years I've found myself seething at various issues, both locally and nationally.

It seems we are living in a nanny state - CCTV, ASBOS, Prison for small crimes and being taxed to the hilt to cap it all off as well.

Fishing licences are, in my mind, a stealth tax. As are indeed the other coastal related issues that are becoming more prevalent.

Breathing on the beach? - probably get an ASBO for that

Getting seaweed from beach? - more than likley subject to VAT

Walking on beach? - new laws coming in would require all beaches to charge a per footstep/yardage toll of some kind

Digging worms? - subject to VAT again, also need correct EU permit, but you would not be entitled to EU subsidies as a "coastal farmer"

Collecting crab/razors /shellfish? - same as above but would need to be correctly labelled with calorie content, don't want unhealthy fish now eh?

So what do we do about it? Voting the buggers out would help...but all the parties are clones of each other anyway. My advice? Either leave the counrty and go to another (the lifestyle in this country is work to live - should be other way round) or make a stand and try to make a difference.

problies one thing ya can do on the beach,and a lot of dogs do it what ive seen ,just becareful you dont mistake it as a large dark pebble if you pick it up to throw
