Looks like av had me fridge on to high of a temp and had me bait in it for tomorrow , checked the rag before and think is dead ? Only got it this morning will this kill it ? Lug looked spot on

Asleep haha , it's gone abit soft n lifeless even when a was picking it up , av left it out for now n see if it warms up and comes alive lol

depends on how long you keeping it for I think.
if I buy rag from the shop I get it home put it in fresh newspaper and I just sprinkle a few drops of water on them wakes the buggers up then I rap them up and just put in fridge next morning same again if the paper has wet through I change it and do the same again few drops wakes them up and of we go fishing with some up set ragworm.

now if it is lug worm I place these in a container with holes in and fill just and I mean just enough with sea water to cover them and every day change the water as there is crap in there lol. and buy doing this I kept them for a full week, all still wriggling about aswell.

hope it helps.

Back in the 70's and 80's I've had both lug and rag in ice before when the water in the bait bucket has started to freeze when out fishing and the worms have survived, just broke them out of the ice and put them in fresh water. At the end of the day they have to survive extreme conditions in the wild

just banter mate

just banter mate

quite simple ...take a plastic tub like a takeaway container . put the holes on the LID section. but not the bottom.
am not that THICK,its just a bit banter.have dug @ kept them in fridge 4 years.
personaly theres need to put lids on the lugworm.as 4 ragworm put mine in catlitter trays @ cover them with clear perspex cut to size.

Ragworm can tolerate very low Temperatures in the Fridge but seem to do better on a medium setting of around 4deg.
Lugworm are just as happy on the Garage floor in cold weather. As for Water, change every 2 days but dont cover them, they need their backs out of the water to breath. Still water hasnt enough air in it unless pumped.
