I went to sunderland today, but don\'t spread it around, people might get the wrong idea

fished hendon wall for a couple of hours over high water, my what a lovely place, such a delightful vista, with an approach road that so delightful I thought I\'d taken a wrong turn and ended up in liverpool. caught bugger all

moved onto roker peir, and have to say I was impressed at how tidy and clean it was, shields pier anglers take note. Caught Bugger all there as well.

High point of the day was the guy who gave it just that bit too much welly when casting and put 6oz of lead through the back window of his car. His car must of felt quite at home down there with no window in it.

Actually I thought it was a canny spot, fish the open sea from the back of your car an\' that. Whats it actually like as a venue?? Anybody ever get owt worth shouting about??

My daughter (holly) reminded me earlier that we did catch something. She wasn\'t quick enough on the retreive and got snagged in the rocks under the wall. When the tide had dropped I went down to get the gear back and found her lead wrapped around one them new fangled scooter things. She then spent the next hour whizzing up and own the prom on it!
