hijacking slightly (but still on topic) can I use my 500mb per month for my phone on my laptop via the phone as the modem??

I use a bluetooth USB dongle (from the £1 shop) with my Nokia 2730 3G phone, on Virgin media mobile, I get 25mb for 30p a day or free if you top-up £20 a month. Download speeds are up to 400 kbps.

3 broadband is expensive, 1gb for £10/month, the connection was unstable & download speed average about 30kbps.

Another option is BT FON or Openzone, I haven't tried it yet, they charge about £5/month or free to BT customers/FON modem sharers. They claim speeds of 512kbps.

Use one in Drummore Alan, its fine but very slow. Facebook/photo uploads/Skype forget it. Does this help ???????
