Today saw a weather window with an ease in the windy conditions my expectations were high for the lads after the recent swell from the north i new the uptiding today should be good but i didnt realize just how good things were going to turn out for a few of the lads .
The water was a nice thick browny colour perfect for uptiding and a nice big tide a lovelly combination a couldnt wait to get the ankhor down and baits over the side and with the uptiding festival just over a week away i was hopeing those better fish had moved inshore it wasnt long before i got my anser.
This was the first one a lovelly cod bouncing between 14-15lb.
Ten minuites later up popped this one 12lb.
Later in the afternoon another this one went 13lb.
3 happy chappies.
All in all the lads on the boat had a nice day quite a few fish between 3-6lb as well .
