fished blyth peir yesterday.me &big andy to my amazement caught 2 double side flatties out of 15 fish 4 coalies nothing big lets hope tonight goes better thanks to codman selling me peeler crab

I got my first double sided dab not too long ago from Shields pier. Has anyone else seen one of these before. It wasn't fully double sided but had patches on the white side. Seen this plenty before on flounders but not on dabs

bit like this one then? theres loads of double siders at cambois beach.

Had a few like that mate. The dab was more patches on white. Weird little things they are

I once caught a 2lb flattie of coldingham point many years ago and you could practically see right through it. I reckon it was a dab but whatever it tasted delicious.
