Drink!!!

Always been Jack Daniels, but my mate brought me back a bottle of Cabo Waba Anejo tequila when he went to the US since he knows I'm a Sammy Hagar fan, man the stuff was amazing to drink. Drank it neat and straight up, like sipping a very fine whiskey, lovely.

Paul if you want to try it again go back at the same time next year and they will probably have it on again. The "Real Ales" are seasonal and tend to be repeated every year at about the same time. The best Honey based beer I ever tried was Waggle Dance when it was made by Vaux. Probably the best pint of beer I ever had.

I quite like Autumn time about late October when Wychwood bring out Hobgoblin and Fiddlers Elbow, I have them saved in my favourites :D :D :D :D

Jim.

most of the supermarkets keep a good range of the bottled brews including wychwood,Try some of the Marstons gear lovely stuff with a canny kick.As for my own preferences a bottle or two of decent white wine.
One thing i struggle with is some of the lagers ie stella, pils etc, tastes nice but get a bad head next day, must need more practice.

Wychwood have added some new brews to their range, added a honey beer and got a cider now aswell. Didn't think the honey beer was quite as good as Waggle Dance, the cider seemed a bit bland too in my opinion...

big (pint) glass. 2 fingers vodka, 2 fingers cointreau, 3fingers white grape juice, top up with tonic, ice and a few slices of lime.

big jug empty in 1 bottle cava, add double vodka, double dry martini, double cointreau, double measure lime cordial and ice!

As some of you may know I'm a big Stella fan although real ales also float my boat ,my youngest son is called Jack Daniel ( dunno why :D ) .I do like a Gatsby or three at Christmas time and have recently gotten a taste for G & T  , I'm also a lover of good malt whisky can't say I have a favourite yet but I know it's out there ! Now then Guiness has tickled my pallet recently also after years off the stuff ,strange but I can manage ten pints of it now whereas three would fill me at one time .

OK OK OK I admit it anything will do as long as vanilla isn't involved :D:D

If you happen to like Ginger Beer and Whiskey then try them together, they go very well together over ice. I called that one a sample as that is what it looked like lol.

Jim.
