Well had a session up at druridge after a phone call off Wayne(Eastlake, also off this site) on the 10/07/10 he said he fancied hittin druridge so we met up and collected some fresh mackerel on the spinner wayne had 9 and a had 3 but great sport on light gear, and that was our bait sorted(and me tea:)) for druridge along with some lug and rag.

so we arrived at driridge 6:30 and glad the wind had dropped off, sea was pretty calm and very clear, was hoping for a Turbot as a had never caught one before and conditiond where lookin good:)

so we set up in a nice spot and could see a couple gullys and sand bars and it wasnt long before we where into fish:D, it was pretty much constant action
double shots of Flounder and Turbot(which we where really pleased with as it was a new species for both of us:))

aye a no richy be nice to see a big one caught put up a canny scrap(the bigger ones)

Is this the first year that turbot have turned up in numbers round here? if so they are obviously now established and year on year they should get bigger, as long as the tiddlers are put back.
