I picked up a Magazine last week in Scotland called DGB Life,it features articles on Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders and is a cracking read,very handy if you are looking for things to do over/up there or you are just interested in the area,not sure if its readily available locally but no doubt your Newsagent could order it for you
