I have fished Dungeness beach once John, about 1983/4 I think. I was fascinated by the pebbles and how they changed in size as you got further along the beach. I remember we fished in November and it was like a summers day, not perfect for codling lol, but there were loads of flatties caught.

hi jim fished it a few years back while on holidays steep as hell the beach. driving along to lighthouse there were signs outside of a few houses people selling rolled blacks cheap as well and the lug takes some beating from there.

talking to a bloke the other week he had just come off beach and a 19lb cod had just been caught it should be on a vid sea angler were doing i think greame pullen ??

I'm sure ive read it was Shaun Pullen and he was greatly dissapointed he hadnt hooked a whiting prior to the cod taking the bait as it would have been a 20lber, he must have been useing dungy rigs
