Durham Police SAC.. 27/05/07

This Comp was fished in very windy conditions at CLAXHEAGH ROCKS on the River Wear on Sun 27/05/07 between 0900 and 1300, with high tide at 1330..
Geordie Vietch was into 2 nice flounder on his first 2 casts, using runnydown tipped with mackeral, one of the fish measuring a nice 39cms..Thats me not catchin I thought, with only crab and a few small whites in me bait bucket, Geordie then caught another on plain Raggie.
I finally caught, using crab, a flounder measuring 29cms, but so did Geordie x2, on the crab that I had given him...
All fish landed were good size specimens and returned, with no undersize fish seen..
RESULT..1st G.Vietch..5 flounder for 150 cms..9pts
2nd I.Ainsley..1 Flounder for 29cms...7pts
All other comp.failed to catch...........5pts

Aye ya right there Peter,wud ov replyed earlier,buy im in Spain and forgot me password....;o...Even me two lads are beating me at catchin Mullet at Cambrils, and they only using handline with a cork for a float...Wonder if its about time to av a go at summit else..like Darts or summit...
