early morning at crawlys

after the divers spoilt last nights go i decided to head back there this morning at 5 am,fished till 10 am and what a beautiful morning to be out,flat clear sea and blue sky plus a couple of little tommys ,saw a few sea trout jumping to

lad fishing near me on the pipe end was getting something spinning,probs macky or pollock.

its between whitley bay and cullercoats where the old rock swimming pool is,you would be better off spinning on the end of the pipe ,you get access in front of the rex hotel,its just across from crawlys and there was lad there this morning catching on lures

crawley's has always been a great mark 4 macky spinning also some nice pollock around the 4lb mark, it beats the racket of the kids on the pier.

was talkin to a guy on the pipe last weeks says in the past 6 years of fishing it hes only ever had bout 12 makky. great for pollack tho!
