Early morning session Roker pier

Got to Roker pier 5.45 this morning
Glorious sunshine and about 10 lads already fishing mostly day lights catching small coleys.
Went right off the end with 3 rods all bait fishing
Looking to get a plaice but instead ended up with dabs and millions of coleys


The dab was 32cm
Not very good fishing boys
Met big fen on the pier again float fishing good luck mate
Roker ronny got a lovely pollack of about 1 1/4 lb on the float


Then at about 4 o'clock in came the 1st makki of the day it was a big gun boys so expect the pier to be crammed from now on lol
A few dabs and coaleys and sun stroke can't wait for Sundays Crabstick tourney at South Shields

You did better than me mate, I blanked on ssp. Got home and did the garden so some well earned brownie points for me. Looking forward to another full pocket tomorrow

Got some special moon fleet plaice rigs so Andy reckons they can't fail so my moey this week

Just got off the pier myself,and while walking off a lad had just landed a monster mackerel on he spinner about half way along the pier biggest mackie I've ever seen!
