East yorks cliff tops 11/10/14

Fished a couple of hrs over high off the tops just south of withernsea,bait was fresh crab n some lovely fresh blks supplied by my good friend richie.
Rigs were pennel paternosters with a circle top hook an a 3/0 bmx as the bottom hook,the other rod was a three hook loop rig,with sz 1/0 hooks then a 3/0 as the bottom hook(just to see if the ytin were about as the cod were thin on the ground)1st chuck resulted in a good ytin around a lb,2nd chuck produced a slack liner resulting in a little mop,3rd chuck on the loop produced a real rod wrencher that ended up been a 2.8lber taking a fancy to a bit of fresh blk.After top it went qt,with the crabs coming on thick n fast,ended up with two sml codling an a ytin,not bad for a couple of hrs or so.All fell to blk lug blasted off the cliff tops over high water.

I was on the. Tops just south of withernsea on Sunday night from 5 pm till 9.30 . Managed - 1mop and a whiting then the crabs came on in force so packed up . At least I didn't blank
