Ebay help please !!

Its the 1st time ave sold something on ebay and have only ever bought off it once my problem is ive just sold a 12" record
I got a notification through the ebay app saying the vheckout transaction is complete in other words hes paid ??
But when ive gone into paypal its sayin theres no payment entered my account
I then went to ebay and it says payment pending
Has the bloke paid or not and where do you think the money is if he has

Someone help please or give is some advice

i think ????not a 100% it could be held back by pay pal for a few day thats were they make money they get a few days intrest on your money

Don't worry David your money will be coming to your paypal account in a day or two.
If the buyer paypal account is not verified then paypal will need a little time to get the transaction completed.

It is very difficult to make contact with paypal to resolve problems as they are very distant to say the least.
They want you to tick a box to answer you questions,very annoying.

I find if I need to make contact with them I go straight to there complaint section even if it's not a complaint I've got,but I find they then will give a quick reply to your question if you go down this route.

There's normally an indicated date of completion next to the pending message for those who pay from a non-verified account.

In the past this has taken from a few days up to 2 weeks to complete for some of the transactions I've dealt with.

You could always contact the buyer to confirm that shipping will take place once payment has completed, which still gives you more than enough time to post the item and have feedback left for you

Hi if your new to selling eBay/PayPal normally holds your payments until either your left good feedback or if no feedback left they hold onto your payment for 21 days.

i have bought and sold on Ebay for a few years now.

Do not post anything to anyone until the money is in your paypal account.

Paypal will email you when the buyer has paid

Payment pending = they have not paid or they may be paying by some other way, cheque, postal order etc.

Don't leave feedback until you have been paid.
