edible crab

Edible crab can\'t be used as bait in the NE region, which goes as far south as Donna Nook on the Lincolnshire coast.
http://www.eastriding.gov.uk/nesfc/bylaws.html for download. Bylaw XX is the one that applies.

Not sure about further south, as the Eastern region website is down at the moment.
http://www.esfjc.co.uk/ when it\'s available again.

Haway Sless - i Dont mind the fact you casting to Roker pier from Shields - But LINCOLNSHIRE - give the rest of us a fighting chance on a monday night :D :D :D

In my paper copy of the Eastern Sea Fisheries Bye Laws (13 December 2001), Byelaw 5 prohibits the use of edible crab for bait.

Eastern Fisheries region covers from Donna Nook, Lincolnshire to Dovercourt, Essex.
