just been to collect my order of ball weights from eds mate andy

well pleased with them,good finish,brass loops, and "lose me first drop stamped on"

I've spent a lot of time making pirks over this winter and even though I don't believe it makes the slightest bit of difference I've been painting them and making them look pretty , a "good finish" as you put it , seems a bit pointless getting them perfect just to wave bye bye to half of them first time they go over the side
What sizes did you stock up on out of interest Duncan?

got a few 8oz and a few 10oz,see how they do over the ground down souf,at cresswell

take your point about finish ray,but i think if your selling a product that it looks good,if your making for yourself maybe not so important.

at some point soon i will go up to the garage,bless the flaming lot,and wish them well in their short lives

Aye we are a funny lot Duncan , insist on the best looking lump of lead to chuck in a tackle box with a dozen other best looking lumps to bash and grind against each other (ooer :red before being tied to the line and sent down to be dragged and bashed across the rocks below
