Eels (my worst enemy)

Fished a club match today and fished the Tyne at the police launch. What a mare I had all I could catch was eels I had 12. And not a flounder in sight for me. Back at the weigh in most of the lads where saying how many eels there all had. I thought this fish numbers where in decline. Buy today showing it looks like THERE BACK.

Just goes to show what the protection of a species can do!

they love all the fresh water in the river seems to bring them out in force i hate them aswell welldone though on your catch

When theres lots of flood water from the bad weather we have been having going into the Tyne this time of year we seem to get plagued with eels and there breeding at the moment to so i would leave the rivers for now and head for the pier or the beaches m8 and failing that your other alternitive is on a boat.
