Had a trip out yesterday afternoon , the sea was choppy and the wind was cold , caught a few cod though , about half a dozen up to 5lb. Coming back in with a following sea and the tide in the opposite direction was fun :D

I read canmans report of his double and decided to have another run out tonight , WOW..... what a difference , flat seas , warm breeze , blazing sunshine and cod galore , I fished a wreck which was teaming with fish , strange drifting north on a fllod tide , but the fish didn't seem to mind.
I could see on the finder there were fish everywhere over the wreck , every drop down produced a cod , then just before slack water ........ they all dissapeared ....... where do they go????
I picked up a couple of 5lb ling whilst the boat was in the doldrums and another couple of cod and then headed home , took me an age to fillet all the fish , but my friends and co. will be well fed this week ;)

Nice1 i am yet to find a wreck that has alot of fish on this year, most have 1-2-3 on but last year found a few just packed with fish for weeks on end.

Well done anyway..leave some for Sat :)

:)Well done mate, what a difference a day makes. There's reports of plenty of fish up and down the coast now, so make haste while the sun shines eh! Arthur:D:D
