Had a run out to plot some wrecks in my plotter which has been exchanged for a new one under warranty, twas a bit bumpy for plotting wrecks but I got a few in and dropped a line on them just to make sure they were actually there like:rolleyes: Couldn't get through the mackerel and coalies to catch any cod ,but I'm sure they were there :D
It was nice to be out again , shame the sea only started to settle down just as the sun was getting low in the sky and I had to come in.
I'd taken virtually everything off the boat a couple of weeks ago to give it a good sort out and clean and ended up cutting mackerel up with braid scissors because I didn't have a knife :o What kind of plonker goes to sea with no knife :red:
Wonder how long them mackerel are going to hang about

First stop was the hornchurch , it's about 4 miles , I could see them thick on the finder and sure enough first drop down brought up a full string (only 3 , but I only had 3 dylights on ;)) Went out to the 6mile mark after that and they were there as well , along with the coalies :)

nice one ray, emptied my boat 2 weeks ago, looks like i may of made a mistake...reading this weekend's catch reports i should of kept on going for a few more weeks....
