Looks hell of a lot better Norman. Now this may seem like a daft question, but how much difference does that amount of cleaning make? Is the boat faster, more maneouverable, more fuel efficient etc?
Hi Mike, about 3kts faster I reckon, feels more \"slippy\" was the only way I described it today, but most of all the knowledge that there is no faults or holes or lumps stuck on the bottom and that the anodes are all good so the sterngear will not get eaten away by electroysis. Oh and of course its good to know I got the rope off the prop ......... LOL thought I`d felt something a week or two ago , must have picked up a bit of 3/8\" rope but cut it clean, the remnants were wrapped around the prop shaft.
And of course there is the biggie I can pose in a nicley polished hull LOL
looks like brand new Norman, did you use that new bronze coloured paint ?? haa haa sorry i wasnt here to help you with the boat.....did you manage a fishing trip today ????
I was shocked at how clean and quick the boat was to put right.Did you tell them about the rope Norman? that was lucky.I like Daves idea about making something for looking under the water so you can see whats going on unde rthere.
Yeah rich went out today , just a cleanliness test really , all working ok..... slow fishing mind , even over high water on hard ground was tough. Got a few but just small (put a lot of very small fish back).
Horrendous drift in the wind lost lots of gear (LOL ask Ian how many he caught )
caught the boat lift sling in the prop ................ had to unwind the prop from inside the boat (just half a turn free it) ............ LOL well done brian cool as ever just looked at it rolled a fag and said can you turn the prop from there ......... ok ... it`s off phew
