Alright lads, I'm thinking about a trip up to Loch Etive first week in November. Is it worth the drive at this time of year or have I left it too late?

Any feedback apprecaited.

Cheers

Dave

alright mate, its better in summer months ive heard, but i was there in january 2010,i had no success but we fished the opposite end to where i wanted to,the deeper water on the quarry side produces some good fish,if your planning on staying a few days, theres some log cabins at loch awe, about 15mins from etive, best accomadation ive ever seen, half price in winter months aswell:red:,if you go let us know how you get on mate

If theres no crabs it can be good for decent Spurs.
If the crabs are there your baits won,t last 5 minutes,so its a gamble this time of year.
The winter months are just as good as the summer,if not better.
The weather can be a pain, take some type of shelter because when it rains It rains!!....
