Not to sure if its 25 or 30, but that was probably the best boat out of hartlepool last year, they were put onto some great catches, on a regular basis.

i have nothing to do with the boat but am berthed very close to it and saw what was coming off it.

why do you say that Billy, i did say probably, are you saying that they didn't have good catches on a regular basis, i know other boats had good days out with good catches, flamer, wildcard, famous for instance. but he's asking about this boat specifically. on a percentage of trips out and fish caught the boat was very consistant.

i think they won the festival with the top weight and second (don't hammer me for this one, because the were sitting with top weights when i went away)

i not saying the other boats aren't good because that would be a daft statement, but anyone whos is saying this boat wasn't consistant may have missed a few of the reports of catches off the boat.

We were out one day and EJ came along to drift the same wreck we were on. The party of lads that were fishing EJ that day were old friends of ours so we had a bit craic and one of the lads showed us a 20 odd lb cod that they had on a pevious wreck along with some other decent fish.

Just shows you don't need a new fast boat to get amongst them.

I fished the evelyn jane three times last year with a party of anglers that I work with. Each time we had a good amount of fish. No grumbles about he boat or skipper. Excellent value for money.

thanks for putting details on teabags ,it a grand boat the famous plus you get a lot more fishing time with the speed she go,s, and wot a very safe boat, and the skipper has a lot of skill in finding fish,i know wot boat i rather be on dont like going at 6 notts i like the 20 nott boats and the craic is great
