Excaliber

C curve is the middle of the 3. The TT is the stiffest then the c curve and then j curve. I have the c curve and it is a lovely rod? Excellent bite detection. Some
People say it's too soft but mine is absolutely spot on. Be using it again tomorrow as I've only had chance to use it once.

I've used the c curve, nice rod... Is it worth the extra money compared to other century's? Not for me like.... Will cover almost any situation you can fish up here though and you won't be disappointed if that's what u buy.

If you can justity the price then yes, if not then no. Me, I very rarely buy a rod new because I cant afford. With regards to the stiffness of a rod, people fished with zzippy 2500s in heavy ground 20 year ago and did fine.

You get whay you pay for like most things in life the only draw back the reel seats are rubbish if they put a fuji reel seat on all there rods they would be spot on

Just had a cast with a j-curve & I'm no expert but just feels right not too powerfully stiff or too soft & bendy, if I had to say it would be the softer end of the scale.
1st cast I was I bit scared of snapping it so took it very gentle, & it went better than I thought, 2nd cast I gave some welly & birds nest a 6500 to the point of cutting off the line.
So next had to use the good old 7000c and gave it a bit stick otg stle casting & it just went & went I thought it was gonna empty the spool......

I've decided I want one, but will need to sell a rod to fund it.
Prob is the only ones I can get rid of are sonik rough ground sk3 which won't get me enough or
Zziplex m4 evo but love this rod.
What would be your preference guys
M4evo or j-curve ? They both seem very similar

If their very similar why not just keep a hold of the evo mate, save all the hassle:)

I'm like a spoilt kid with a £10 in a sweet shop, love the evo only used it 3 or 4 times, but just love the look & feel of the century
But as Iv said I'm no expert & can't tell much difference between the 2 rods

personally i find the c curve soft in the tip for my kind of fishing and the TT too stiff, ideally would of been better if they made the TT 14ft long and slightly softer in the tip would be a much better rod imo

Just bought a 2nd hand j curve
Better price than I expected to pay
So keeping the m4 aswell
Can't wait to see how it handles with a decent fish on
Thank everyone for the advice
