Ive converted from multipliers to fixed spool and braid and don't think i'll go back, also just bought a T1000 so don't think my Excalibur TT will get used anymore, cant decide weather to part with it or not its 7 month old comes with the rod bag and reducer mighty bright tip tape and a Fuji reel seat receipt ect in immaculate condition used 10-15 times at the very most cleaned after every use. The Excalibur C curve is more suited to the braid and fixed spool so I might be willing to Do a deal on a C curve
 
I thought the same arron then went back to multis. Great for bite indication but I found I bumped fish off often, a little to often lol.
 
Give ya 100 bar for ya olde TT arran. Then when ya decide that ya wrong I'll sell it back to ya at a very reasonable sum.....lol. Asta la vista baby..... I'll be back����������
 
Each to thier own really, been there tried it, thought it was awesome then realized its not. I can see the reasoning with the yorkshire/whitby lads fishing the high cliffs etc. I just use braid for spinning and flattie bashing now, i feel more confident with mono and a good fish then braid because every head shake could be the last !
 
no probs with braid for me.like it much better than mono.its something you either like or don't.hell of a lot using it now so cant be that bad.garry was landing double fig smoothies on it.have to use it the right way and not try pull the fishes head off.t1000 is great rod with braid
