i watched it and found Robson Green ,well a bit of a Tw @t - But then again i like him ,his telly programmes ,when he is making his living as an actor are pretty much ok - so i live with his strange remarks and the singing of football songs in deepest china - he may as well been singing the German national anthem ,cos the locals ,didnt have a Scooby ,who he was to start with and had no idea about anything football (maybe Man Utd granted)


BUT everyone who has called this guy ,seems to have watched pretty much the whole programme Hmm Strange that one ,if i didnt like a person ,or a paticular subject ,i really wouldnt put it on to watch

But thats just me ., The Button on most telly`s also switch it off ,as well as on

The whole programme BriH? what about the last series as well. That's a well known saying that, if you don't like it switch it off.

I don't particularly like Robson Green, I don't think he is a particularly good actor and he is very overated as a singer, so I didn't watch the programme. If I had I certainly wouldn't be going onto any website and talking like some of the posts on here, especially if I had watched the last series as well as this one. Why on earth would some of you watch a series with someone in that you really HATED, say it was a load of crap and then watch the next one, unbelievable. If I did complain about it after all of that then I would really really deserve it I think.

I think it is a great show and the wife and I normally have a good laugh at it. Look on it as an entertainment show and not an instructional angling show !!!!

To those of you who think he is a tool the solution lies with your remote control. Simply switch over and watch some class like Corrie or Eastenders.

lol am lovin this thread! robson's this robson's that, he's a so and so etc cannit fish, cannit sing, sounds like a poofta etc etc. its as entertaining as the show!
i personally think the show is great fun, with some fantastic photography/locations, and so must the big wig's at ch 5. 3rd series, prime time slot, terrestrial tv, howay lads (and lasses) hayes/wilson/gilbey/morgan haven't managed it between them....EVER. lighten up and enjoy it....... you know you want to

Well said Dicky,nice one. A similar "Robson" thread got shut by the mods on WSF due to so called "anglers" going OTT big style. All they were doing was showing themselves up. There lack of basic grammar and severely limited vocabulary astounded me. They were quite good on expletives though !!!!!!

Yes it takes real man to sit behind a monotor and hurl disgaceful abuse at someone who cannot defend themslves. I know we live in a democracy,free speech and all that but what they were saying verged on libel.

I have a PC connected to the big Tv so we can watch channels from abroad and the likes its just a big freeview box but we do like to watch a guy from the states fishing, from what I gather he has been doing a show for years his name is Bill Dance his show has apparently been going so long theirs alot of outtakes on youtube and its these that we watch hears a link

Lads, I hereby appologise.
Having read all the comments I DID have some doubts as to how bad this so called northern lad really is. I thought it was a little unfair and thought some comments were a bit tough. This morning I search the "ON DEMAND" section on BT vision and stummbled across EX Fishing. My GOD what a tool. I only hope that those blokes who happened to have spent time with him during the filming of the show don't think we're all like him. Roson.........hang your head in shame.
