I could do with some help please. Am fishing Eyemouth soon does any one know the good shots coz i've never fished it before. Am fishing for codling, wrasse, pollack.Whats the best baits:confused::confused::confused:

fresh crab m8 but take some spinning gear up using either jelly worms r sidewinder sandeels either black blue r orange they take some good pollock up there in the nxt 2 months and the can be right at u feet.as for places 2 go practically any were u can get dwn 2 from the golf course 2 burnmouth n from the cannons 2 coldingham hope you do well m8

i normally fish the caravan park Hairy ness and the cannons. hairy ness you can normally get over the cut 1 1/2 hours before low tide bit earlyer if its a big tide keep an eye on the tide so you don't get cut off, pretty deep water cast towards the bouy for the coddling into thick kelp down the side for the wrasse use crab and rag the pollock are more or less all over try spinning or use the float.

the cannons is thick kelp all over so take plenty sinkers the path down is before you get to the cannons about 30 yards on the left and be carefull on the rocks when they are wet they are very slippy

hope this helps cheers mark

Fished the rocks around coldingham bay a few times,(always stayed at scoutscroft holiday park), caught plenty pollack and coalies in the 1-2 pound range, also had some nice plaice, bait was always frozen stuff ie r/down, mack,squid,s/eel, only used the tackle shop in berwick once total rip off and crap bait, so always took bait with me, hope this helps.
