as we all know the biggest tides of the year were at the weekend,one of the lads, had a nice ling just under 25 lb on sat ,dave reported more ling than cod,sunday we had a canny stream of cod on the morning tide,during the afternoon i thought i would try for ling my biggest about 17 lb,then this monster fell to a shad for one lucky lad 33lb weighed on the boat may have been a bit more,its guts were empty would have been a lot bigger with food in its guts
