fancy dress at safc

nearly as interesting as fishing.

how many games left till end of the season.

punching horses bet theres none at nufc now apart from joe kinnears circus.

little wee club up the road think that remark was made from sir alex furguson god of football
regarding nufc.

got no worries at all for sfc none whatsoever.

nufc supporters only sing when they winning fact.

your right there m8, lose and they ignore you at work , win or safc lose and they all smiles - *anquors

genuinely curious to know, as it all the time when the handbags come out..

'small club' 'Newcastle's a smaller club than Sunderland' etc etc not just on here but you see/here it quite often, the whole 'they are a smaller club than us' from sunderland fans

serious question, what's the logic/origin in that?

you don't watch streams for away days then ??

radio mainly MARRA, or the local club with a couple of pints, very rare use streams, never seem to be very high quality.

You feel free to watch whatever you want marco lad, you won't get a bite from me, just don't bang on about being great supporters of a great club when you'd rather watch a stream because it's easier than having to actually make the effort of going to the ground, Even your then chairman commented on it!

and local clubs show all the games do they ?? on sky or are they streams ?

you have never seen me quote what you typed neither. don't tarr everyone with the same brush . MARRA .

HaHa,
the "wee club" was ferguson wasn't it,the mackems will state they have won more league titles than us, few times in the 1800's! and a couple of times 1920's or 30's, and a couple of fa cups, we won the league 4 times in the early 1900's and 6 fa cups.

The mackems have a chip (maybe a cheesy one) on their shoulders, they will always be in nufcs shadow, as even though neither team have had any recent success, nufc have been premier league runners up twice, fa cup finalists, played champions league football, numerous european campaigns, and shown real ambition in the transfer market, sjp regularly sells out, stad de shat doesn't. Even on holiday they get asked "where's sunderland", "near Newcastle is the reply"
sunderland is so small they don't have their own airport, more of a town than a city.

Hope that answers your question, The only people who would ever class 5under1and as a bigger club than newcastle are mackems, deluded ones at that, Everyone else in english, european and world football know's the truth!

Not sure what constitutes a "big club", trophies? crowds? turnover? who knows.

Both north east clubs have great support both home and away, staggering really given the dross served up most weeks.

There's a difference between watching on a foreign satellite system and an illegal stream you know?

"Most" ILLEGAL streams are poor quality and a waste of bandwidth. But obviously we have a resident expert on here that uses them all the time rather than actually going to the games..

Was only a few weeks ago the mackems were saying how di canio was just the man for the job, how all his signings would fit in well etc etc.

Now five games in and we are getting excuse after excuse and how they aren't sure about him.

Loyal? Fickle more like?

its for all to see pdc is a clown the ranting and raving on the touch line must unsettle the players I said in early posts and am afraid it looks like its going the way and so early in the season him and jk want to get to gether and **** off

Agreed Keith, Unfortunately neither team have had any recent success , even last seasons european adventure ended up working against us!
Obviously since sky & keegans entertainers we have had a much higher profile, bigger crowds, big name signings and more "relative" success. Every neutral i have spoke to regard nufc as a bigger club.

Fickle fans at most clubs Gary, wasn't that long ago Bobby Robson was booed and hounded out of the club.

Oh really? Did that happen? Or you just read it somewhere?

Yous lot have gone from one extreme to the other within little over 2 months man. Ha

marco1967"expensive do this sid james park by the sounds of it , think ill stick to illegal streams on tinternet marra . ftm ..":confused::confused

That's not right and you know it though is it, the majority of fans were behind sir bobby, of course some weren't, no manager can please all the fans all the time. He wasn't hounded out of the club

I take offence when Sunderland supporters try to score points by bringing the late great Sir Bobby Robson into it, there's just no need.

I was highlighting all clubs including yours have fickle fans.

No , I think you were attempting to point score, I understand that as a mackem you aren't happy at the minute, but i think using Sir Bobby was in very poor taste.

You'll be telling me next that stokoe wasn't sacked after leading you to relegation, and everyone was behind him?

I agree some fans are fickle, I'm not, I have realistic expectations, I have never booed my side off.

bit o' googlerising later

Newcastle 4 league titles ( but last was 1927 )
6 FA Cup wins ( but last was 1955 )
1 European Trophy - Fairs Cup/UEFA 1969 (last trophy)

so Newcastle 11 major trophies, but ages ago!!

Sunderland 6 league titles (but last was 1936)
2 FA Cups ( but last was 1973 )

so Sunderland 8 major trophies.

Sunderland top five premier league finishes: 0

Newcastle top five premier league finishes: 7

Sunderland seasons in Europe: 1

Newcastle seasons in Europe 17

so sunderland last won a trophy 4 years more recently than us, in 1973 versus 1969.

So basically neither of us are big clubs, and both have our fair share of feckwits

did also stumble upon the following factoid:

"Shola Ameobi has scored more goals in Europe than Sunderland AFC have in their entire history. Enough said. 5-1"

who'd a thunk it

(not even gonna go near relagation facts and figures!)
