I would put them up but my usb cable lead knackered, if a can get a lend of a cable i will put pictures up

heard it was 14lb 11oz, not that we will quibble over 2oz, best cod so far this winter, just heard apparently it was in a South Shields AC match and it might of won the match and heaviest fish.

I'm sure the captor would disagree Alan, those extra two ounces will make all the difference to him :p Stonking fish and a big well done to the angler concerned.

Excellent catch,
You'll not be able to get on the pier over the next couple of days!

Always makes me laugh this one, people chasing reports of a fish that has already been caught. Still if it makes for more room for the rest of us on other marks then let them go for it :D

well done-full of roe i bet. I was trying for one off the Heugh but had no luck-still you,ve got to be in it to win it.

Mick.

well done phil and my spot the south east corner theres been a few good fish taken there in the past :D

well done to that man :D waco (bob) did you hand ball that up or did he go to the stairs ;)

Waco wasnt there mate. Phil managed to keep the fish up in the water and drag it round to the left side of pier where the the tide pushed it to the stairs. At this point robert lees had his gaff in hand an he managed to hook the beast in the shoulders. U shud see the girth of it, it was a fat pig, full of sprat, crab and unfortunatly for a fish of this size, roe.
