Bri, It was Silicone rubber specifically made for pouring, large tub of \"syrup\" type white stuff and a clear bottle of hardener, would of cost an absolute fortune, I only got it because it was past it\'s shelf life.

I didn\'t believe the adhesives / materials expert \"Sticky Stan\" when he told me silicone rubber would withstand molten lead.

RTV325 High Temperature Resistant Silicone Rubber

anyone fancy a top of the range melting pot,not sure if its DCA selling this or one of there suppliers,Ebay item number 7121845789 ,could,nt justify buying it myself but someone might want it

Alan, That seller is OLD MOULDY sells quality pirk moulds.

I\'ve just sold one of those pots on ebay for £35, works pretty well, but not really designed for making leads over a couple of ounces in my opinion. I\'ve seen sites selling them new for about £50.

Bri, RTV rings a bell as the name of that rubber!

Keith if you have sold it what are you using now ?I fancy something other than a auld pan and stove but I\'m not prepared to pay silly money any idea\'s ?

Propane bottle, industrial gas ring and a big cast iron pan.

Just been talikg to Marc, he uses a Stainless Steel Teapot, bung the lead in, stick it on the stove, then pour from the spout!!!! GREAT IDEA :D

cheers Keith I\'ll stick to my auld pan then lol, like the tea pot idea as well, have to look out for one
