been hoping to get a bit more fishing time this season and even placed an order for a lrf rod at a not so local tackle shop , paid the 70% of the rod price and even and brand new reel , line n braid etc. now i ordered the rod late may/early june , was told two weeks which i rang and was told another two weeks and i would get a call when the rod had arrived. its now effing july n my rod still has not arrived. getting a bit dissapointed that he has not bothered to keep me updated ..i'm gonna hold on one more week and if still no phonecall, i will just ask for my money back .. i know i am in the wrong. i should have ordered online paid a few quid for delivery and get what i wanted go fishing. seems this 'noble' idea of supporting local shops is getting worse for me ... rant over.

Get your money back mate. Order the rod on-line (after checking the delivery time). Most stuff I have ordered on-line usually arrives within a week.
I applaud your sentiments about supporting tackle shops, but it's up to them to at least match the service of on-line purchases.

well ive waited all this time, what another week. deep down i just want the rod at the same time i am wanting a new boat rod which i think is more important. just feel really let down tho. unless he has got some sort of miracle excuse....
